Our supplier indicates the following uses. Confirm the grade and requirements of each project before ordering.
Abrasive blasting
For abrasive surface preparation. Specify the substrate, equipment and desired finish so the appropriate grade can be confirmed.
Play areas
For play area projects, subject to the required specifications. This is not a certification as an impact-attenuating surface beneath play equipment. Request the characteristics and compliance documents required for your project.
Masonry
For sand requirements in masonry work. Specify your intended mix so the required grain size and cleanliness can be verified.
Interlocking pavers
Specify whether the sand is intended for bedding or joint filling and follow the paving system manufacturer’s instructions. This natural sand is not presented as polymeric sand.
